I just downloaded the free plans for a quilt stand from Woodcraft magazine. The offer is on page 2. The plans look to be very good and the rack looks very nice. My wife makes lots of quilts and I've been racking my brain for what to give her for this Christmas this year and now I know. 

I do plan on making some minor modifications to make it more of a Mission style piece.
