Is there a change to this chuck?  I bought 2 of them and they cost around $169. as best I can remember.  It may have only come with only one set of jaws.  They are good chucks.

John that is a good deal! It does not include the threaded adapter which is @ $22.00 but still a good deal. A must have!

I bought a ONEWAY TALON about 6 years ago for $120.00 during a inventory reduction sale and it included the threaded adapter. Now the chuck sells for $245.00. These chucks are almost a must for pepper-mills, bowls, plates etc..I use mine for drilling pen blanks with long nose spigot jaws and adapter jaws I fabricated from aluminum. It works great and is accurate.

Well, looking at this price, I'm glad I bought mine when I did.  I can't recall what I paid for it, but it was less than $199  I agree that the chuck is almost a must have in turning.   I really like the new chuck that Easy Wood Tools just came out with, Easy Wood Tools Easy Chuck but $499 is WAY out of my price range :-))

I like the fast change jaws but $499. for an unproven chuck does not work for me.

This sounds like a great deal, especially with the four sets of jaws.  It may be a good thought to check out the Nova website, and check what they have available.  I bought a rebuilt Super Nova 2 for $99.00 this summer.  It works fine...comes with a new warrenty also...
