December 2, 201213 yr This past week I was able to do some work on this cool project. For the last updates please click on the following links Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 I had to fabricate a dowel to join one of the arms to the top of the posts. I also planed the edges to flush the extra rail I installed at the bottom to give it thickness and strength and to support the seat boards. Next I shaved the top edges of the rails to give some age to the new parts I installed. Yesterday I was able to attach the arms to the settee, I'll get some pics up soon. And we are ready for stain!
