December 11, 201213 yr Came out pretty good. He should be happy. He can go to the range in style, now! Three coats of 50/50 Dark Walnut Watco and Marine Varnish. Followed by three coats of straight marine varnish. All rubbed out with Scotch Brite pads, Maroon through white. Finally a coat of Trewax. December 16, 201213 yr Author Thanks Claude, Mike and Cliff.Cliff,All the hardware including the handle came from Hardware Elf .The handle is really luxurious. Soft leather over nice padding.
