December 13, 201213 yr  Got a few plane irons sharpened up, walked up to the Antique Mall to look over their high priced planes.  Came back home to find the mailman had dropped off a small box.   I got everything out of the box, and down to the dungeon we went...Here, it is set up for a little wire brush work.   I had the belt sander sitting there as well.  That 2x2 Oak is for test drives later.  Now about that box, it had a bunch of parts inside...the larger of the two chipbreakers was painted a bright RED ( why???) so that got cleaned off. The smaller set is a #3 size by Worth. The larger one is a Stanley "Two Tone" iron.  The block plane iron???  It seems to go with the cap iron, and the knob. Might be a Sargent made one.  The large brass wheel seems to be a lefty, as far as threads are concerned.  Most of this stuff was a might bit rusty.  I even shined up the bolts. Now, about that test drive..parplus #5 took a turn on the oak...then the kiefaber #4, with that two tone cutter....then, the union #3 finished it up.    Seems I have a few saws down in the Dungeon, as well...just hanging around.   As for the parts I don't need right now out of all them parts?   MIGHT just sell a box lot of parts, someday... Sign on pick up truck's back window..:' Save a Horse, ride a Cowboy'
