Another new guy

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. Another new guy here. I'm AD AF. LIKE woodworking. Enjoy making different stuff. I hate deadlines and i really hate when someone "wants one just like that one". I really like making something once and not again. Ido some work on my carvewright and  I did just buy a CNC to make parts and signs. I do enjoy making shadow boxes and stuff.Been messing around with wood working/carpentry for about 20-22 yrs. I also enjoy home remodeling and tilework. thoe last 2 have been put on hold due to a couple strokes this year and high doses of blood thinners I am on for life, so I am now stuck in the garage/shop while waiting on my MEB to be completed. CNC should make my hobby a little safer (not so much chisel and router work). Any nice to meet ya'll hope to be able to help out with some of the great things you guys do.

Welcome aboard Bryan.  This is a great group to hand with and pretty talented too.

We all share the love of just losing yourself in woodworking. Keeping our minds focused isn't a problem, we just love to do what we do. If our project is a success or failure really don't matter. We enjoyed making it, and learned from it. I can't tell you how may projects contributed to my wood burner. .Only me and God know and neither of us will tell :-)

Glad to have you join us.

Ron

Welcome aboard Bryan. Like Ron says, we do like our woodworking. I've been making designer firewood for several years. Only occasionally, a piece escapes the wood burner.

What are your woodworking interests?

Hey, Bryan! Glad to have you here!!!!

As you can see, I'm usually a little late on the uptake!
