Hello there fellow woodworker .

I just completed at boys tool box and now working on a leaning book rack for the wife for Christmas. The book rack is in cherry and I an about have finished. I pressing to finish it by the 25th.

I live just down from Hartford Ct. in Bethel. It is a fine town.

2013, like the last 5 years won't be the time to jump into the market too agressively, but rather in small bites over time. Most people do not realize if they maintained discipline over the last 10 years, they could have achieved a 10%+ annualized return. This is done by not listening to the media, or the cnbc talking heads. The market is back 123% from it's 2009 low.

 

More important than the markets, in my opinion, is whether Washington will indicate to the business world that it is ok to increase outpout w/o the threat of fiscal punishment being their reward. Long term growth at this point will be determined by fiscal and regulatory policy, both are determined inside the beltway.

 

We need to control the printing of money and business destroying regulatory rules by the folks at such groups as the EPA trying to push counter-capitalistic agendas through public policy.
