December 21, 201213 yr I recently made some doll furniture for my granddaughter that I used white latex paint on.When I opened the can, I found that the water based paint had eaten away the seal and the can would not reseal. I got a bright idea, I could salvage the remaining paint in a zip lock bag. I had about a pint left and I put it in a gallon sized bag and stored it on a shelf. The next day I discovered the bag of paint on my garage floor. My wife must of thought it was trash and got it down for disposal. I put it back. The next day it was on the floor again so I was about to tell her not to do that when it dawned on me. liquids seek the low point and my thick latex paint was very slowly working its way off the shelf. I was just lucky the bag held. Now the bag is captive in a plastic container
