December 25, 201213 yr Welcome Ron to TPW. Rockler has one that is convenient and fairly small but has good suction and is much quieter than shop vacs. I used mine until I got a larger canister with a separator. here is a link. http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=30676&site=ROCKLERI do recommend getting the long hose and the 5 micron filter bag. Not sure where you live but I would like to sell mine and it has the 5 micron bag but the hose I'm using on my DC.A lot will depend on what kind of power tools you plan to us the DC on.www.thepatriotwoodworker.com Proud Supporter of Homes For Our Troops

December 25, 201213 yr I have a 5 gal separator (cyclone type) hooked up to a 18 gal shop vac. Got mine from WoodCraft. It works very good. In over a year the bag still doesn't have much in it.Harry BrinkBulldog WoodworkingMontana
January 2, 201313 yr Is your DC need about your respiratory health or for your back?If it's your respiratory system, take a gander at this thread:http://www.thepatriotwoodworker.com/forum/topics/dust-collection-silica-allergies?commentId=5228218%3AComment%3A232220If it's your back - - well - - I hate sweeping too.
January 2, 201313 yr And then there is the cheapest way - install a 20" box fan in a window with a cheapy filter in front of it. Â Takes the dust out of the air - of course, if you are venting OUT, who needs a filter. Â Filter used for circulation within the shop.Fredaka Pop's Shopwww.pops-shop.com'Soooooo many patterns - sooooo little time'Scroll Saw Forum Host
