January 18, 201313 yr My buddy Rob sent me some cool pictures of his latest work, and Oak Farm Table. I'll let him describe it. the start of a solid oak farm table showing the shaped aprons and massive mortise and tenon construction. The wood is all coastal live oak, solid ,with no laminations allowing the rift and quartersawn patterns to really shine.Very heavy !! I love the mortise and tenons on this one, big, and strong. Looks like Rob took to turning as well! To see more of Robs beautiful work you can check him out at Tule Peak Timber!
