bought me a new Frued router, has a plunge base an stationary base also, even has the cd on the use for it,gentleman i got it from only tried it once,so everything is still there, got it for $150,an also got ryobe bits in case for $40.00,all brand new,am diffently watchin the cd,to learn how to use it right,so what do u guys think good deal or not ?

Ron, You didn't specify the model, but if it's the ft1700vcek, (the only one with interchagable bases that I know of) you may have paid at the top of the mark. It's a good, tool, though.

Having never used Ryobi bits, I'm no help there.

Hey Ron, you did fine with the purchase. In that price range your going to get a good machine and you should be happy with it for years to come. Freud is a good name and you should be happy with what you got. Even a sale on those routers your only going to save maybe 10 bucks on a good day, and you would have to wait for that to come around, So be happy with it! Great job and I look forward to seeing what you do with it, remember if you need help with set up or technique, we are here. We can help you every step of the way. The CD should be a good resource, if you have any questions that the CD did not answer, you know where to come.

Thanks for sharing this moment Ron, it's always fun to get a new tool in the ol shop!!!!!!

If it is the heavy duty plunge router,  FT3000VCE retail is $350 new

If it's the ft1700vcek new retail is $170

I'd snap that up.  I have a 20"  BS and often consider how very handy it'd be to have a little guy around.
