January 24, 201313 yr slow day so I'm screwing around with Turbocad designs  Besides it's Cooollllld Anyway a couple of iseas for getting those thin consistent rips that you use for maloof style rockers. Normally I'll just toss the stock on my Agazzani B-20 and use a carbide tipped Lennox and the cuts are slick and smooth but here's a couple of other ways. For the conventional TS here is a hand operated sled type fence.  you can get pretty thin with this gizmo using a second piece of wood to hold the work to the thin rip fence when it gets really skinny. Obviously the little green thingie is mounted so it stands proud and the screw will be C-Sunk
January 24, 201313 yr Author here is one for the Sliding table saw that uses a shop vac to suck the work against the fence. T can be altered for a conventional TS too. But this incarnation bolts to the slider by the T slot in the table The first version gave me some cause to wonder if the larger board might be pulled away by any friction between it and the cast iron so I solved for that.
January 25, 201313 yr Cliff, are there several file designs available like those for Sketchup? Ron DudelstonSite AdministratorAbove and Beyond WoodWorks
January 25, 201313 yr Author Cliff, are there several file designs available like those for Sketchup? I dunno.  But TC has a facility to do a save in SKP format. However, I didn't include dimensions precisely because these sorts of tools really have to be tailored to their anticipated end use.
January 25, 201313 yr Author I can save 'em in SKP and send them to ya. Can such files make it through the PM process?
