PostalTom
For those who are members of, or have access to, a woodworking club, maybe work a deal to order, say, a five gallon container, then split the cost and the glue into reasonable quantities? Or maybe the same deal with a lumber yard? Dadio and Grandpadave52

A gallon wouldn't be bad but, the last gallon of TBII I had went all lumpy before it got used. Maybe just bleed into a quart. Just got the answer back from Franklin Glue. Temperatures above 75°F will degrade the shelf life of the product. We recommend 24 month shelf life on this product. Refrigeration will help extend the shelf life. Hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you, Ronisha Byrd Technical Service Specialist Franklin International 614-445-1343 I ordered a gal. from Woodworkers Supply and some 16 oz. empty bottles to break it down into smaller bottles and will store it in the refer on the back porch along with my CA glue. Gene Howe
Herb, thanks a bunch for taking the time to get that info. It's good to know. Although, it rarely gets above 75 in AZ....hah. When I get a gallon, I'll do what you do. Dadio

oldwoodie
Not sue why anyone with a hobby shop would need that much glue. Besides, I don't have a lot of problems with glue ruining surfaces I finish. Course I do not do production work.

I know ,but that 50 gal. drum takes up a lot of room. Maybe I should have ordered 50 one gal. jugs instead, it was cheaper this way tho, saved me a $1.00 on shipping. I was thinking there should be enough room in there for a drum of glue and a LOT of beer. Cal, schnewj, Grandpadave52 and 1 other

Dadio
Well the glue came the other day so I broke it down into smaller bottles and put it in the refrigerator. Found my black light this afternoon and here are the results of some dried glue spilled on a paper towel.
