Popular Post DAB Posted February 8, 2018 Popular Post Report Share Posted February 8, 2018 made this little bandsaw box yesterday, got the last coat of poly on today, so i'm declaring it done. some oak scraps i had laying around. my first bandsaw box, i'm pleased with how it turned out. woot. will give it away sunday at the pistol match. will fill it full of some chocolate candy (Dove and Hershey kisses). someone will go home with some good stuff. Once you do one Dave you will be hooked, I went thru a bandsaw box phase a few years ago and it was fun. The nice part about them is you can use your imagination to cut them any shape you can think of. I came by some red wood beam cut offs a few years ago and made some. the last one is a piece of spalted apple fireplace wood. not as nice as DAB's though. Your classic wooden hinges add even more of a unique twist that I never could replicate. All are spectacular Herb, but the fly box and the little dresser really are eye candy.
