I look forward to hearing and sharing with you all. I am an Afghanistan war veteran with a 100% T&P disability rating. Been woodworking a short time, but absolutely love it. It’s my therapy and hopefully will become my livelihood once I get a few tools and practice.

As others have said - Thank you for you service.   (and welcome to the forums).

Is there any particular "thing" that you envision making (or enjoy more than others)?

Are there any particular tools that you see yourself needing in the short (or long) run?

We're happy to have you here.  :)

I would like to make dining and coffee tables out of some of the wood I acquired taking down barns and live edge oak slabs gifted to me.

I could use some good large clamps and a good skill saw or bandsaw for hardwoods.

Thanks again for the welcome.

If you need advise repost a question in General Woodworking or Tools . For clamps I would Bessy or Jorgenson but there are some new ones also that would be very servicable. If on a budget maybe pipe clamps from Harbor Freight.
