If your educated guess hits right on after we find out what it is, you win! But if you want an immediate win, without the wait, you'll need to back up your answer with verifiable references. Great job guys! And great answers! Let's keep it up! I have been scouring the internet using many of the educated guess's in this topic, and have found nothing yet. I have googled many words using your answers and a combination thereof, but no luck, no hits, no images. I am currently looking at old tools that a ship builder may have used, or implements that may have been used on a ship to handle rope or whatever. Wish me luck! It was pictured in Gulia Child's special, "Roll your own" Not only did it roll noodles, it could make ropes could eat.
