Does anyone here have any experience with ToolKraft shapers? Someone near me has one that needs some work, but it's only $50. Parts are still available for them from what I've found online. I also read that ToolKraft made machines for a number of companies, but I'm wondering if they were decent machines or something to stay away from? Any thoughts?

Anyone have any experience with the shaper origin? I really don’t have room for a full cnc and maybe an alternative? https://www.shapertools.com/en-us/

I know at least one woodworker here is using the Shaper Origin, and I came across this website that shows how to build a Shaper Origin work station. I remembered this fellow Charlie Kocourek being interviewed by Scott Phillips awhile back about his Jack Bench. So anywho, here is his Shaper Origin work station if anyone is interested. Also, take a look at his Jack Bench, pretty cool! How to Build a Workstation for the Shaper Origin - Jack Bench by Charlie Kocourek JACK-BENCH.COM Tips and Tricks on How To Build a Workstation for use with the Shaper Origin. This design precisely secures both Horizontal and Vertical work pieces. Here is the link to the free plans, they are at the bottom of the page. I'm looking for advice and suggestions about how and where to sell. Do I refurbish, all or partial? What about shipping away from my location? How to price? I have my father's woodshop equipment bought in 1948 (have original invoices). Includes table saw, scroll saw, band saw, shaper, wood lathe, grinder, drill press, and belt sander, located in Washington State.

Just returned from a six hour car ride the purpose of which was to pick up this Ammco 7" shaper. It belonged to the sellers Granfather who bought it new an only used it in his home shop. We had to drag it up a flight of stairs. The sellers father who was there said he remembers carrying it down the stairs as a teenager. The machine is pretty much plug and play. The electrical needs to be redone and it needs a good clean. There is a problem with the auto advance for the table which I understand is a common problem that is fairly easy to fix. The seller made me aware of this when we first talked so this came as no surprise. All in all I'm a happy camper. P.S. If anyone has fixed the auto feed on one of these I would appreciate your insights

"Back From The Archives" Good day gents. Please forgive me if I have some problems understanding how this works. I am new here although I have been involved with OWWM for three years.
