And then MAYBE just maybe this box will be done? Lid is filled up.... So is the box. Maybe some sort of swivel keepers? Gave the box a good rub done, after the lacquer coat had dried.. need to set things up to take some decent pictures of the outside. Still haven't gone to get a latch. Thing weighs a 'ton", too. I knocked down the gloss quite a bit. getting close to the end. While going through Menards sometime, to get the latch, I'll go past the screen hardware section.....those screen keeper levers might be just the thing....may have to add a strip of wood, here and there....

Need some help from the folks. A couple years ago I purchased an Enco 199-9001 14" band saw for $40. It needed cleaned up and a trunion. Called Enco got the trunon and this thing worked pretty good. Now the upper guide block ( pot metal ) broke. Called Enco, the model and all parts are discontinued. Went to Lowes, looked at the Porter Cable one they carry, looked close enough to swith the complete assembly and I would be back in business. Looked up all the parts, made a list and called the local Dewalt repair center, talked to a nice guy on the phone, gave him the list and most of the parts were back ordered. They have been back ordered for a while and he noted this may mean they are discontinued also. So I am back to looking for a upper guide block or upper assembly again. This saw is not the best, but works good and gets a fair amount of use. ANy help, ideas or information is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Here is the build of 3 smaller Tablet holders. Apologize for the one blurry picture that shows the toothpick dowels I used to locate the back leg for glue up. Herb

Has finally came back "on-line".....scary thought... Working out some details to build a case to hold the boxes I have been a-building....and maybe a drawer or two. maybe like a chest-of-drawers? Need to make the sides and top. Might be whatever wood comes into the shop during the build. Might see quite a bit of work done with the Stanley 45, too. Might need to resaw a few things down, too. Start time is after the 5th jan. Doc visit. Will post updates of the build, and the knee. Stay tuned.
