A small cardboard box had this sitting inside.... I stuck the edge guide in place, so as not to loose the dang thing...Logo? Never heard of it....might be before my time? 3 prong plug, though...Price? Yep...$2.00...even came with a blade.. There is a set screw that goes through that hole, another the notch goes up against... So...talk to me about this pointy thing.... Do I turn the guide over, and this becomes a circle cutting jig? Bar that slides in and out of the base, has a scale in inches. Foot plate can be tilted to do 45s? One of 2 old power tools I picked...the other is a WEN No. 930 ( $4.45) Power planer... and... And.. I guess these will fit right in with my SKIL Home Shop 6" circular saw ( all metal, too) Not too bad of a rust hunt?

Just did not have the room for it.. . Logo claims this is a Dunlap......Price was...ok.. Tool rest seemed a bit small. The Dungeon Shop just doen't have the room for this thing. As for that other machine? Again...no room..was even to big to haul home. Logo? Never hear tell of this one....Price? $25 I can remember a time when I would have bought both....now? I don't even have room for their router table they were selling.. And...not for this price... Without a router?....Pass.

I found these at a couple of garage sales this summer. The one is an Atkins cross cut that appears to have a very nice etch. It looks like it will clean up nicely and the rust seems pretty superficial. The handle on this one is very nice. I am needing a good cross cut and this one should fill the bill. The second saw is a bit rougher. It is a Spear and Jackson rip saw with split nuts. It has seen some heavier use and has been sharpened quite a few times. The rust is heavier on this one and the handle has some weather checking. It will need much more work if I intend to bring it back. The original nib is still there though. If it turns out too rough, I have a couple others that could use a donor split nut. Grand total for these two saws was a whopping 2 bucks! We will have to see how they turn out when I can get some time.
