  1. I seem to be running behind a lot here lately. Here it is Saturday afternoon and I am just getting my Friday or Saturday post up. We have been working on an order for Cheese Boards this weekend. These are the blanks for the cheese boards. We have got to make 30 and ship them Monday. While I have been cutting things out, Beth has been doing lots of sanding. I have about half of them oiled and branded and she is working on the rest of them. In the mean time I have cut and glued panels to make a 24" lazy susan made of White Oak. I also had so much cedar in the shop I picked up the cut offs and glued the panels to make a Cedar Chest. and as soon as we finish the cutting boards we will start on three Green Egg Tables that will be picked up before Christmas. Wow Christmas is getting here fast. The elves in the shop may be on overtime till Christmas. So what is going on in your Patriot Woodworker shop? We here at TPW love to see all the projects you are working on so post the project and pictures. Well, I am back to the shop, but I will check in later...
  2. Twelve days till Christmas Eve and everything in the shop is whirling, spinning and throwing off dust. Jointing is finished, planing is done, boards in the clamps, ready for sanding and fun. Not a moment to waste, expectation are high, now I'm wondering why I didn't start in July. I hope you all have all your projects finished or near finished and getting to do some fun stuff in the shop. We had our last craft show for the year last night. It was an outdoor show and a bit cold, but it is December and should be that way now. Tomorrow I will be working on two blanket chest, one cedar and one Cherry. My sons will be also in the shop working on two Cedar Green Egg tables. I am sure it will be tight in there and four big projects being worked on at the same time. We will be doing the "WorkShop Shuffle" going from machine to machine and staying out of each others way. So how about the rest of you Patriot Woodworkers, what's on your woodworking agenda this weekend. We here at TPW love to see and hear about the projects you are working on. Come on and share those projects with us and tell us about the ones you are working on. On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, 12 Walnut, Cherry, and Maple Bread Boards.

Who We Are

Operation Ward 57 Challenge Coin Display Project

We are a woodworking community with an emphasis on sharing and learning the skilled craft of woodworking and all of its related disciplines. Our community is open to everyone who wishes to join us. We support our American veterans and active duty, being a veteran is not a prerequisite to join. Join us now!

Air Force Command Center Plaque

Of course just like most online woodworking communities we are centralized in the arts, crafts, and trades that are woodworking. But, we have another focus in our Patriot Woodworker community, we are the only woodworking community that was founded on our care and concern for our disabled veterans.

Patriot Woodworker Volunteers

The Patriot Woodworkers are an all volunteer community, from the staff and hosts who run our online woodworking community to the members who frequent our forums, you'll find volunteers in all of us. We are not on a payroll, unless you consider the spiritual rewards gained from volunteering, as compensation.

One of the many projects we are working on is a wiki for our online community. A wiki is a great way for woodworkers and enthusiasts to share their knowledge to others, and to impart their knowledge for others to learn from, and utilize as well for their own benefit. We hope you'll consider being a wiki contributor.
