  5. Has anyone gotten their Grizzly Catalog for 2021? I still get it even though I have not purchased anything from them in years, but I do love just perusing the pages, it's fun to look at!
  6. I got mine in the mail today! I know what I'll be doing tonight at bedtime! Reading, and reading and reading till I fall a sleep with images of sugar plums, or I mean machinery and tools dancing in my head! I only wish the postal service would figure out how to get this in my mail box without fraying and ripping the edges! It looks pretty good in this image but that's only because it all laid flat for scanning. In real life it's all ripped up!
  7. Making it to the big show! Well folks, the longer we stay live, and stay honest and stay classy, good things just keep happening for our community in the realm of recognition and exposure. 8. Last week I got the 2017 catalog in the mail and I will say for all the new name brand lines Grizzly is adding to their already large catalog they seem to be trying for more business... So between projects I spent all after noon looking at every page.. And recalled the joys I use to have when a Sears or Wards catalog came in the mail. Which reminds me of the story I just today read about things being returned after Christmas because of one or another reasons. The worse reason for something being returned was after the partys, superbowl or Christmas the big screen tv's was taken back for a refund. It was used to impressed the friends so was not needed anymore this year. And if packages are opened and lots were used and laundried stores can't resale things like that which 90% of all returned items are sent to the land fill. Even salvage companies don't get to compete for lots of that. Sad how america has been become and maybe Sears might have started most of it and now Sears will probably go by the way side because of it. Sad
  9. Each year the MWTCA sends out a wonderful reprint of an old catalog to all its members that make the annual dues worth it in itself, just this action. This year we all got The Simonds Saws and Knives catalog, from 1919. It's a great reprint, brand new, neat cover, good stock and a joy to read. Below is in image of the cover of this years catalog and a couple pages of what the catalog has. For membership information please see MWTCA Membership Information And you also get the quarterly publication, The Gristmill, an wonderful magazine. And there are tool meets and flee markets all across the country that MWTCA sets up and has meetings and get togethers, it's a great organization.
