  1. Here is a topic that may not come up often enough. I am not a professional and do tend to point and shoot, but there are some basics we can all benefit from. Lets start with equipment. A good camera helps, but there lots of them. I like SLR's and have been using them since the early 80's. Now using DSLR. There are plenty of compact cameras out there that will work also. Important is being able to change settings from A,to T to P,or portrait or macro and capability to adjust light balance. The camera does not have to break the bank and if you want a good SLR (film) I
  2. An acquaintance of mine posted a link to the Woodworker's Showcase show last weekend in NY. She sets up a booth there and was kind enough to share these photos from TOTALLY TURNING by Chris Stolicky https://www.flickr.com/photos/stolicky/sets/72157664403229854/with/26135272401/. I don't think you need a Flicker account to view them.
  3. I just uploaded about 20 images to an album for Wednesday's Wisdom... After struggling thru the 4 "tags" , adding a description to each image and copywrite information- I hit publish. I was presented with the message that I needed to "Use 4 tags". OK maybe I missed one. Guess what- no way to get back to where I was AND preserve the data I had already entered in order to correct the problem. I needed to start over and re-enter everything again. This could be a real turn off for folks wanting to upload project pictures. Also, and this may be in the works, a bulk uploader would be very
  4. John, I took pictures this morning of the communion table and when I tried to upload them to a post from my Iphone I got an Internal System Error message. After several attempts I just posted it on the desktop. After consulting with tech support (i.e. John Moody) and he had the same problem, we determined that it must be an IOS 8 problem. Both of us have had the same error message and we have both upgraded to the new operating system. His Ipad had IOS 7 and there is no problem there. Has Joomla mentioned this.
