For my quarantined friends, and anyone for that matter. If you need some really good viewing, and if you need educational programming as well for you home schoolers, you can use the Crafts in America videos for the art portion of your child's education, but for all, the shows are just a wonderful time. Best viewed on a large screen, with good sound. I have seen every single one of these PBS shows, over the last few years, and every single one knocks it out of the park. Craft in America » EPISODES WWW.CRAFTINAMERICA.ORG You can also find their YouTube Channel and view the larger format than what's available on the website. I watched their latest show "Identity" this past weekend and loved it. Cheers!

Again, PBS hits it out of the park, a wonderful documentary. The Warrior Tradition | The Warrior Tradition WWW.PBS.ORG The largely-untold story of Native Americans who served in the United States military.

I just watched a 2 hour documentary on the Korean War. There is so much i didn't know! But what is a common theme in all wars is how big egos and politics in so-called "leaders" drive men and women like us into their wars, and how so many civilians and military are killed, so much destruction, and none of those "leaders" ever have to account for their roles. I am screaming! Sorry.

The Moulthrop Family Turning Video (Pbs Craft In America)
John Morris posted a topic in Wood Turners
I have watched this episode many times and I still love it. About a minute in is when the spotlight on the Moulthrop family begins, and what a family! I am amazed at the turnings the patriarch of the family created, and the younger is an absolute genus with his turnings. My favorite is the sticks in the bucket with epoxy he does, then turns the blanks to create these incredible multiple species turnings. Take a look at the video, and have fun.
