This was going to be a bird house front. I started with a cedar fence board and you can see how it came out. My wife may want to use it as it is and hang it from a small tree. She is not sure yet, so for the time being it is a bench ornament 😃

Today we found out that Uncle Sugar is handing out more money. I don’t agree with it but since they send it I’ll spend it. I’m going to upgrade my fence system on my 1947 Delta Unisaw. It’s a great saw but the OEM fence needs replaced. Here’s my question. Which fence do you have? Love it? Hate it? What would you buy?

I made this windmill about a year ago. I used an in line skate roller with ball bearings for the center hub. About a week ago I looked out and it was gone. I found the parts scattered in my neighbors yard. We had some wind gusts over 50 mph and I figure something let loose and it flew apart. So I gathered up pieces and saved what I could. Today I reassembled it and strengthened it at the weak points. Next step it to put a tiny generator on it to light a light, any ideas where to find one? Each vane is about 8" long

Maybe this should be in the "Free for all" But it is made of wood. Our fence between homes is 5 ft high. My wife is short and can not reach far enough to pet our neighbors Bloodhound. So she turned a flower pot over and stood on it..........till it collapsed. So she wanted a step that would be strong. I made one with 4"x4" legs screwed to the fence. If this one falls......so will the fence

I made a couple of these for my family and got another request for a couple more. I made them out of Cedar fencing boards and painted with some fence stain/preservative. I made each finger and then joined with glue. After the glue set, I made a cut thru the knuckle and put in a spline. I also drilled all the way thru the fingers and glued in a small dowel to hold the fingers together. The childrens sunglasses came from the Dollar store

I went over and left these plans. He wasn't home so I left him this. I think he should consider this for he would be the talk of the town.

My daughter wanted me to make her an old time santa head that she could hang on her porch. This is what I came with. The back board is about 28" x 11". I built it as I went along, revising, removing, adding, etc. I made it out of fencing cedar. She didn't mention color, I like the . wood grain showing. I hope she likes it,

Right after I posted about a saw fence to replace a "stock" job-site fence on a few sites, things got a bit crazy. The fence is a home-made "T" square sort of thingy. Just three pieces of scrap. Can be clamped to the rail on a Job Site Saw to replace a flimsy stock one, can be clamped to a board as a speed square, a saw guide, or even a router guide. Kind of fuzzy ( we're working on that issue) but this is set up as a saw guide to do a straight line rip. Anyway, one of the sites this cheap little fence was posted on was The American Woodworker. Project hits/views are now OVER 17,000! Ok, just three pieces of scrap wood? Maybe six or so screws? Maybe this will go "virial"???
