    Hand Tools

A friend wanted a Spice Rack for her "disorganized" food pantry Alot of satisfaction using only hand tools I get alot of flack about the old tools I buy refurb to use My comment is always the same "I prefer my hand tools are older than me" I have a winter shop downstairs and a unheated (right now) summer shop Power tools are in the summer shop and it's cold in Kansas right now Alot can be said about the advantages of using only hand tools lfor the Spice Rack Alot less mess chance to hone my skills and rewarding when the project is finished Not alot of hours in this nice to take on simple projects that don't hurt my brain as much Enjoying the forums everyone lots of good info Thanks , Craig
  4. This was this week's project My Father-in-law found two Disston saws that were his GrandDads' I was excited and heartbroken Dated them both to 1889 Definitely was worth the elbow grease Not perfect but priceless to me I do most projects with hand tools so I sharpened this 5 1\2 tpi gets it done It is a joy just knowing everytime I pick it up my Wife's Great Grandpa had this saw in his hand many times P.S. Not contributing much else yet but enjoying the forums alot Thanks everyone Craig
