  6. It's kinda scary. A lot of work has been done that looks good, yet a few years later it's in the trash. Hopefully it lasts forever.... When I worked at Jakobe Furniture the painters name was Jason. He couldn't build it but he understood wood movement. If I made a live edge and he wasn't 100% satisfied with stability he would reject it. When you have a good finisher working beside you quality is at its best...
  7. I find that most of the people in my neighborhood who have second story decks sit on there front porches and grill on the front of the house and those of us who have decks close to the ground or patios tend to use them daily and prefer to be on the back of the house. I want add a firepit about 10' from the stairs. My wife says that's too close. I told her if it's any further I won't use it. I want to walk from the deck stray to the pit...

  14. Update.....guy text me yesturday, Said he built the boxes and wanted my help taping the edges. I asked if he already built the boxes. He said yes. When he calls today Im gonna tell him he's on his own. I'll help him on the phone if possible but I'm no taping already built boxes. This is why you never try and build cabinets without understanding the process A-Z. He's in a fix now....
  15. The guy that wanted me to do the cabinets bought a computer that was $1500. I asked him today what he wanted for it as he said after he left that designer he didn't really need it. He said he would do some trading but I don't know what that is at this time. If I get some information I'll post it as I only know how to run the ecabinets software and the computer guts I'm confused on.

  20. I was going to buy the $18 set of 4 at Amazon but as usual only one pack left. I think I'll spend a few more dollars and get something from a better dealer on there. There usually about $22. Trying to find a good deal on the #10×1.5 green hex head screws. I used hillman. Guess I need to stick with the same brand and color....
  21. Finding the brackets is easy. Finding the best price is a little harder Found on Amazon about $18 a 4 pack

  23. The virus has put a glitch in everything.
  24. Was anything used to support the crack? Dog bones, etc?
  25. Trying to get the graph in my arm these days for dialysis With the virus it's been put on hold and still using the temporary in my chest. With the graph I can start training for home dialysis.. Doing dialysis 3 days a week, 4 hours each time is kinda hard on the body. Cramping, weakness is a part of it. This combination takes the fun out of the shop. You really can't make plans physically cause you don't know how you'll feel daily. Home dialysis will improve this as it is only 2 hiurs 6 days a week and much better. Too many projects ready to start. Maybe soon. Thx for askin....
