    Woodcraft

I asked that and was told all of them. This person works at a warehouse not a store.

    Woodcraft

My neighbor works for Woodcraft. They told me Woodcraft is for sale. If it doesn’t sell then they are going to close.
  3. Welcome Larry. You have some great looking projects there. You picked a great forum to join.
  4. The only problem with having batteries is they will need to be replaced every five years or less. I used to replace the batteries in our UPS systems at work every five years and often a few here and there between three to five years. Now I am talking a lot larger scale than what you would have in a home. We had three UPS units with eighty batteries in each unit at $400 to $500 per battery.
  5. I have been looking online and saw a Grizzly 16 by 24 VS lathe. We had some Grizzly tools where I used to work and they were built very well. Never had a problem with them. The Grizzly lathe is $1595.
  6. That is an awesome bowl. The grain pattern is beautiful.
  7. I understand. I would also like to be able to turn larger bowls but can't.
  8. They look great Dan. I also like to watch Ashley Harwood turn finials.
  9. I have a Rikon 12 by 21 VS. I like it a lot. There is still a belt with three pulleys but I found the center pulleys give me the hi's and low's I want and don't have to change the belt much. It has a 12.5 inch swing and 21 inches long.
  10. I have never seen anything bad about Laguna products.
  11. You can run 110 volts into a VFD and run a 220 volt three phase induction motor. The VFD cost around $120, not sure what a motor cost.
  12. Yes but make sure you buy an inverter duty motor.

We had a great time. The weather was good. We went to Apalachicola to visit Aunts and Cousins that I haven't seen in 40 years.
  14. Some of those looked pretty scary.
