  6. that was it... a combination of a small screen and resolution settings... setting the resolution to a comfortable view looses forum items... lowering the resoltion puts everything on the screen but he can't read it.. too small... Herb.. go get you a 30'' monitor.. or at least a 27...

  10. I think we are on different pages... on this project it was hardly 2 months since their installation and leaks were showing up.. window before flashing... they leaked.. you don't fix it now you will be back to square one before you know it... windows after flashing...
  11. End grain will always soak up more finish than face grain, and the result will be a darker color. But if you sand it to a higher grit, it tends to burnish the surface and that limits the absorption of finish. The results is a lighter color that more closely matches the face grain. So if you plan on sanding the project to 180 grit, I would sand the end grain to about 320.
  12. I have others... to get that quote from all that was written I just highlighted it and then clicked on ''quote selection'' but you are.. your screen should look like this in the upper left hand corner... only it should say smitty10101 and not Stick486 that I don't see..
