  1. This is for my store. Have a show next month
  2. Still working on additional stock. Christmas tree with Star yesterday and today started a ring holder design.
  3. There are different bits and screws. In some bits the recess for the screw may be different than the screw on your tool. I think AZ Carbide has a chart.
  4. First welcome to the forums. As to quality of the cheap carbides with handle you will find that those handles are basically just hollow tubes and light weight. I cannot speak for handle longevity. As to making a handle you do not need a collet, just use copper (tubing) Ferrell and drill and tap for set (Allen) screws if you want the bar removable. Now as to carbide quality there are many types carbide just like there are many formulas for HSS. I understand that Mike Hunter (Hunter Tools) has a special formula for his unique cupped cutters, the best in my opinion. I am sure Easy Wood also has a special formula. Probably the cheap tool carbide would not last. I have one EWT finisher and it cuts end grain very well but not as good for box sides. Hunter will do both very well. Overall the cheap tools may work until you decide what you want but would not do as well as the finer grades,
  5. Nice box , BUT what no printed paper label? I am disappointed. I have a set with Dunlap label I can send a pic?
  6. This is it. Supply is sometime sporadic and looks like they went up since I last bought them. Beads order
  7. It is Gourd Master Metallic ink from Wellburn Farms. Very easy to use. Comes in small bottles. Wellburn Gourd Farm
  8. Great box for a great cause. Are you putting a BOC medallion on it?
  9. Turning to add to my stock. Yesterday was biscuit cutters. And painting my new Bell character tops.
  10. Supposed to start , oops just started raining and last into the night. Working on replacement inventory . Turned Biscuit Cutters yesterday. It is amazing how many cracks in some of my wood, esp walnut. So more of the same today.
  11. Great price but I sold my Longworth ands bought a Frugal Chuck.
  12. I have a similar one all in wood. Don't use it anymore as I have made other jigs. The trick is make a couple cuts and measure, couple cuts and measure. If you develop this as a habit you will make far fewer funnels.
  13. Reminds me of a Justin Wilson joke. Son comes home from LSU and father asks what he learned. Son says "pie r square" . Father says " that is not true pie r round , cornbread r square" paraphrase.
  14. OK I will bite , What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
  15. Well @Larry Buskirk a year older and getting someone else to start the post Finished my Plate on JaHo ornamental jig and reworked the jig. Had a woodturners meeting with good turnout.
  16. Had the rain today but not much else. My ASV (a step above a Bipap) is acting up and tried to take it in but the dealer has moved. Went on errands with my son and finally shop time to finish my first plate off the JaHo: Ornamental turning jig. Tomorrow is woodturners meeting so going to bed a little earlier , ;like now.
  17. Prices depend on woods and size. I have sold one for 110, it was about 9 inch diameter
  18. I think I have the same 3 Narex that Steven has and they performed very well for me and razor sharp , plus easily resharpened.
