  1. My hat's off to Fisher House! EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  2. Let me know what's required John. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  3. Grind down the allen wrench until you can get it in the bolt. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  4. That's pretty cool Gene. I like the filler between the oysters. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  5. Lewis that's a beautiful crib. I really like the raised panel look on the ends and the walnut accents. Awesome craftsmanship! EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  6. Nice work there Fred. I really like the USMC emblem. Very clean! Do you have a pattern? I have a co-worker that filled in for me when I was off for a month caring for my wife. He's a jar head and this would be just the thing for a thank you gift. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  7. Looking really good there Lewis. I cant wait to see the finished product. I really like how you made the pieces levitate....LOL! I kept trying to figure what the pieces were sitting on before it dawned on me they were strung up with string to dry. Getting older sucks sometimes! Lewis Kauffman said:
  8. Way to go Mark. This wouldn't have happened If Ron had not taken the bull by the horns and contacted them in Charles's behalf in order to get it fixed. Ron you are awesome my friend! EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  9. Lewis got it right. It's for cutting cabinet door frames. Both outer perimeter and for removable panels on the inside of door frames. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  10. That all looks sweet John! I can't wait to see the swing completed and the display of cutting boards look really nice. I'm in the process of spring cleaning my entire shop. Last night I emptied out the dust collector and disassembled the Wynn filter from the collector and sealed several small leaks in the ring and plenum then reassembled everything. Today I'll be unloading a tall roll around storage cabinet, then cutting it in half to form two pedestals for a counter top with a downdraft carving station for my Foredom flex shaft power tool & a place for my disc & spindle sander.  EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  11. Very nicely done John! Last week you were asking about the use of dyes. Did you use dye on this project? EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  12. Table saw & an Incra miter gauge. For thinner stock I switch out the gauge for the Dubby. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  13. First let me say welcome to TPW. I've owned the Dewalt since the first day they came on the market and have been very pleased. If you plan on building cabinets and don't want to use pocket screws, it's a great tool. I tried The slot cutter that is used in aa router and hated it. There are many biscuit cutters and most are of good quality. I would not buy the Fesstool as they are way over priced. Good luck. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  14. Thanks Cliff! EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!
  15. Nice demo. I haven't kept up with advances in technology for the band saw but I would have thought for this kind of money the guides would have been roller bearings such as the Carter style guides, at least on the larger saws. EAGLES MAY SOAR BUT WEASELS DON'T GET SUCKED INTO JET ENGINES!

Who We Are

Operation Ward 57 Challenge Coin Display Project

We are a woodworking community with an emphasis on sharing and learning the skilled craft of woodworking and all of its related disciplines. Our community is open to everyone who wishes to join us. We support our American veterans and active duty, being a veteran is not a prerequisite to join. Join us now!

Objective

Air Force Command Center Plaque

Of course just like most online woodworking communities we are centralized in the arts, crafts, and trades that are woodworking. But, we have another focus in our Patriot Woodworker community, we are the only woodworking community that was founded on our care and concern for our disabled veterans.

Volunteer

Patriot Woodworker Volunteers

The Patriot Woodworkers are an all volunteer community, from the staff and hosts who run our online woodworking community to the members who frequent our forums, you'll find volunteers in all of us. We are not on a payroll, unless you consider the spiritual rewards gained from volunteering, as compensation.

Education

Logging

One of the many projects we are working on is a wiki for our online community. A wiki is a great way for woodworkers and enthusiasts to share their knowledge to others, and to impart their knowledge for others to learn from, and utilize as well for their own benefit. We hope you'll consider being a wiki contributor.
