Too WINDY" outside to really do anything. Might as well start assembling that pile of computer parts to see what I don't have. -

Good Monday Morning Patriot Woodworkers! April 15, 2024
Larry Buskirk replied to John Morris's topic in General Woodworking
Used to be time and a half for over eight hours, time and a half for over forty. double time for Sundays, and triple time for holidays. I used to make more in one week than I get for a months pension. I used to think I was going to meet myself like in this old DD commercial. -

Mowing. Maybe next week if I get all of the downed sticks, branches, and trees cleaned up so I can, still plenty wet here even after a couple of nice days. More rain coming tomorrow into Wednesday so I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Nice day again today, so after thinking about it being a Monday, I flipped my two headed coin and called tails for going about doing it today. -
Not a tool, but 1930's Delta!
Larry Buskirk replied to Larry Buskirk's topic in Old Woodworking Machinery
Thanks Lew. I couldn't believe it was still listed because someone had already put it in their watched items list on eBay! when I spotted it. I almost did the same until I saw it was listed as a "Buy It Now" item and well below the price I saw that "Bid" listing one go for. The "Bid" listing one if I remember correctly started out at $0.99 and I couldn't believe it when I saw the bidding war that happened towards the end of that listing.- 4 replies

There was another one of these with a different paint scheme that I watched posted in late 2018, early 2019 that was a bid item that if I remember correctly it went for $127 and some change plus shipping. I think I know the person that got that one. These are his photos from another website. I suspect that the different color schemes correspond to the color changes of the 1936-1938 machine badges. The one I couldn't stop myself from pushing the "Buy It Now" button was $25.00 plus $5.99 shipping.- 4 replies

IDK, we're retar retired so there is no pay grade, but I've got a 80mm 110V server fan that could probably turn an all beef hot dog back into hamburger pretty quickly.
