The woods were common Ohio woods Cherry, Maple and maybe some Oak. The unusual part of this clock is that I made it with no hands and no numbers. I painted time markers on two clear plastic discs, one for the hour and the other for the minutes. There are 12 radiating rays, each represents an hour marker
