<p>I made this one for my daughter who loves sun and star symbols. The woods were common Ohio woods Cherry, Maple and maybe some Oak. The unusual part of this clock is that I made it with no hands and no numbers. I painted time markers on two clear plastic discs, one for the hour and the other for the minutes. There are 12 radiating rays, each represents an hour marker</p>

<p>This is a large clock that hangs over our fire place in a large room. It is 36" in dia and features several types of wood, including Paduak, Yellow Hart, Purple Hart, Bloodwood, and another that I can't recall the name of. It is a chiming clock and my wife loves it</p>
