Thank you Gene, my new photography back drop and lighting is really an added benefit to showing off the work. It really makes a difference. Thanks to @Gerald for sparking my interest in photographing my work.

Thanks for the comments. Love the way you put the sapwood in the center. Not to reduce the glare you are getting there are several things you can try.

    1. Try reflected light off the ceiling or a photo reflector.

    2. Try a white gauze or tshirt fabric filter in front of the light.

    3. Reduce the number of lights you are using.

    4. try more overhead lighting but not the full room light.

You might try all or a combination of these to help with the glare which is tough to deal with on glossy subjects. Also seems a little dark under the chair, do you have a lighter background? You are doing good on this setup.

@Gerald, thanks for the wonderful tips! The light boxes I am using have the white fabric filter on them already. I'll try reducing the number of lights, and reflective and overhead next time. Also, I'd like to try the white background I have too with the dark wood items, in the case of the rocker perhaps the rockers at the bottom would have came in better?

Do not use white . A gray gradient or light gray is better
