Tim Goins
Can anyone tell if they have ever removed the anti-backlash nut from a jessem router Mast-R-Lift table. Mine is stripped and I’m trying to remove it. Called Jessem but they have not returned my calls. Email them and they referred me to a later model Mast-R-Lift. Which was no help it is configured different then my model. Enclosed is a picture of the one I have Cal, FlGatorwood, lew and 1 other

DuckSoup
At 1:30 in this video shows how to disassemble the part. If it doesn't travel on the rod you may have to carefully cut 3/4 into it with a hacksaw and split it with a chisel. Like Lew said, model number is needed. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=how+to+replace+anti-backlash+nut+from+a+jessem+router+Mast-R-Lift+table&docid=607999672272575848&mid=787668AEEA98DDA03ECF787668AEEA98DDA03ECF&view=detail&FORM=VIRE Edited October 14, 2021 by DuckSoup lew, Cal and FlGatorwood
Gerald
I am guessing the rod is spinning since that nut is a lock nut. I would say try padding the rod and use locking pliers , then remove nut. FlGatorwood and Cal
