Here's a novel approach that seems to work pretty good! Too often, when I put a chunk of wood on the lathe, I'm really not sure exactly what I'll end up with. I have not used a hook tool, myself and wondered how they could be sharpened. I do have a "Scorp" and think this might be the way to sharpen it.
