While new england is getting a big winter storm (again) - our version was a big steady rain all day yesterday followed by cold and windy today. So today I will be doing some vinyl work and staying pretty close to inside I expect. I may even take a look at the tax situation, but I think I am missing some of the info I need for it. One is a compass, the other a clock and two are magnifying glass. Window inserts. From inside room From outside. Used old sheet and stapled to back. Took me a bit to glue the foam to inside pieces then assemble and glue it all up. Should have a picture tomorrow after I cut box in half. Did get out there for couple hours and got side tracked into a small project rearranging the sanding discs for lathe. Popular Post Gunny Posted February 3, 2021 Popular Post Report Share Posted February 3, 2021 Took the clamps off and cut in half. Turned out better than I had hoped for first try. Glued all that foam in place BEFORE the box got glued together. Center dividers are a sandwich. One layer of foam, then a piece of 5mm plywood then foam again. Went into grooved slots I made duri9ng set up. They will not be coming out short of cutting box apart. I was sure to mark where to cut when the clamps came off. (Thankfully) What little exposed wood you can see on inside has already had 3 coats of poly, so inside is all done. Got first coat of yellow on this evening. Be a few days before it is all done. Bought them and then dropped them off here asking for a box. They were $60 each, I am guessing that the box to store them was a bit more than he wanted to pay based on price per unit.
