Popular Post Cal 8,945
Merry Christmas Larry, and to everyone on TPW It is pretty darned frigid here in mid-Georgia this morning and only projected to get into the upper 30's. Expecting to see our daughter this afternoon and have our Christmas then and zoom with our son and SO in Ohio. For the weekend I have a little paint project to prep for, and will hopefully be ready to shoot as soon as we have a warm and dry enough day. I had bid on a few pieces of auction furniture last week but did not win the bid. I will spend some time this weekend looking for suitable plans that I can either follow or use as a guide. May be back into woodworking in a couple weeks. p_toad, HARO50, Larry Buskirk and 7 others

They both got much more. Sort of a laid-back holiday this year. Santa brought some snacks and a few other small things. Popular Post FlGatorwood 10,107
Had son and his family with the 2 grandchildren here today. They had gifts. Got my son a 6 gal. compressor from Horrible Freight. It is built by Stanley or Black and Decker. They look alike. The grandchildren had educational gifts, gems, crystal growing, and gooey putty with lights and magnets. I gave pens to neighbors. Very much appreciated. Then we went to Denny's for take out, but could not get service. So, walked down to Waffle House and even though the house was full, we got complete service in just a few minutes. In less than 30 minutes, that team had all those customers out and on their way to their destination. Walmart parking lot was totally empty. I had never seen that. Weather wise, we got down to 33 this morning with a Jack Frost. Had to water my garden before the sun lit it up. Have it covered for a hoar frost tonight and temps down to 29. I want a wall along the border of Alabama and Georgia to keep the cold wind out of Florida. And, I want the 2 offending states to pay for it. LOL Anyway, we'll be back in the 60's on Sunday and the remainder of the week until about Thursday. Time to get more done. Hope all had a wonderful day with your famiilies. My gift was to watch happy family member unwrap their gifts and find what brought them joy. Tomorrow, will get the replacement pack of Legos that the first shipment sent by FedEx to Missouri instead of Florida. Hmmmmm! Popular Post FlGatorwood 10,107
Gene, it is so good to see that you are in compliance of having no more than 10 guests. LOL Went to Denny's yesterday and the limit for dining inside is fifty or fewer. Yet, there must have been over 100 people inside. :-( Gunny, so sorry to see you get to work in a cool climate. Better than in Afghanistan. And, you shop temp is a little too warm for me. When I am working, I like 60's. Artie, lew, Fred W. Hargis Jr and 3 others

Got up at 0900 and went to check on shop. Cut heat off till about 1900. Was nice. Cal, Artie, JimM and 4 others
