Popular Post RustyFN
Thanks Dan. I use a 2 inch Forstner bit to get as much as I can. Then I take the rest out slow with the square carbide turning tool. I have a couple I made from Harbor Freight pry bars. They are long and can reach in very good. They are the two on the left in the tool holder. One is square and one is round. FlGatorwood, lew, p_toad and 6 others

The match line is fairly close. It is off just a little from where I had to remove a little from the top to get it to fit into the bottom. What is your finishing schedule? It is 4 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. I finish with bees wax then put a coat of Shellawax friction polish over that.
