Ron Altier
I was wondering what the average age is for Patriot woodworkers on this site. How about a little research John. Link to comment
Smallpatch
Some guys wont give their age, like me.. You get enough information on a person they could drain your back account plus your Social Security some day?? Link to comment
John Morris
54 years young this November! I don't know if we have a method to find out the average age with this software, I'll see if I can find out how to do that, I missed that day in Woodworking Community Hosting School. Link to comment
Gene Howe
I'm gonna guess the average age is 62.7. Anybody else wanna take a shot? Link to comment

John Morris
I can down load birthdates without names attached, I could deliver you an Excel file with one column full of birth dates. You'd have to strip out the month and day, then average the birth year. Then we'd have the average age. Or if you had a better way. Link to comment

If you only used the year, that wouldn't be accurate enough as a tiebreaker for the grand prize. I was thinking (dangerous, I know) - wasn't sequencing dates the reason the military always noted the date as day/month/year, like 27July2020? Link to comment
lew
We can do a tie breaker by using the entire birthday and let excel format the numbers Link to comment

I have a new laptop and I haven't put excel on it yet. IIRC, you select the column and then select the average function, or maybe reverse - get in a cell, hit =, then the function, then highlight the column.
