AZ reports 384 new cases. 3 in our present county. None in the county(Cochise) where we hope to be moving. Still running around 11% positive of tests administered. Only one death in the state, yesterday.

695 new cases in AZ, today. After several low number days, we're increasing again.:(

The numbers get played with.  Pennsylvania showed low numbers for a couple weeks and then posted 5,000 new cases on 9-2-20 and then 2,000 on 9-3-20 to catch up.  We may never know the truth.

Thousands of South Carolinians were erroneously notified that they had tested positive for the virus. Officials are blaming a computer glitch. People in other parts of the country have reported that they too, were notified of positive results when they'd never been tested. Apparently, somebody needs schooled on computers.

"Someone who is asymptomatic has the infection but no symptoms and will not develop them later." Definition from Websters.

Perhaps we are just searching too hard now, perhaps we should just focus on those who actually have it and/or are displaying symptoms. Perhaps we should focus our testing on the vulnerable who have a greater chance of complications with this virus.

While any death from the virus it too many, the real number of Covid deaths is 0.60% of our population, with 94% of those deaths inflicted upon Americans were with underlying compromised conditions that contributed to the death of those Americans, according to the CDC. Healthy Americans who died of Covid account for 6% of the deaths. Perhaps then we should not keep testing the entire population and just focus on the low hanging fruit. The numbers would be much easier to track, easier to wrap our heads around, and the crystal ball formulas that seem to permeate our science community these days can be done away with, and we can tackle the real numbers, and protect those who need it most.

I just feel we are spending way to much effort in the areas that don't need the effort.

In this time of our nations strife, we need real numbers, because numbers that erroneously bloat the real threat, those numbers close down businesses, destroy lives, those bloated numbers are actually killing people if we account the unknown deaths from stress, suicide, drug abuse and alcoholism, child abuse and on and on and on. Those erroneous numbers are irresponsible, and evil in my opinion, they are destroying lives.

MHO :)
