Artie
My wife has several health issues, and each of them is one of the “You don’t want to get Covid if you have this”. So last week her endocrinologist told her she is on a strict lockdown. Other than to see doctors, she is not to come in contact with anyone but me. We can go on road trips, but no meeting people, using bathrooms, etc. Where I work for a municipality, and am in schools, townhall, library, and other town facilities, I am very nervous. I have no issues with anyone else’s decisions about getting a vaccination, or not, but I’ll take two (the Missus and me) as fast as I can. Link to comment

I'm convinced my oldest daughter and me had it back in January, but just didn't know it at the time. Knowing what I know now about symptoms, I know we had it. And I hope you (and Ron's family) don't have lingering after-effects. We still get tired days (I'm having a couple at the moment), and our other ailments continue to persist. My wife may never fully regain her lost brain function, and it may be slowly deteriorating. I pray nobody here gets it and has to deal with consequences. Link to comment
Fred W. Hargis Jr
Well, Ohio has reached that magic milestone...15% positivity. That has some special meaning for travel restrictions. I knew we could get there if we had enough people acting stupid and ignoring any semblance of the protocols. Can't wait to see what happens in another week after the Thanksgiving gatherings. If this seems sarcastic, it is. I'm extremely angry at many of my fellow Buckeyes for acting like this whole thing is a joke. Meantime, my wife and I are still in pseudo lock down. Link to comment
HandyDan
I'm right there with you Fred. Keep hearing about people I know getting stricken. I hope they don't have the lasting symptoms I hear so much about. Link to comment

Al B
Over 2800 deaths in the past 24 hours. This is the highest death toll in a day since the pandemic began, and experts expect this number to climb. Thankful a vaccine is on the horizon. Stay safe ! Link to comment

FlGatorwood
Both our state and county are rising in cases. The hard heads here are relaxing, thinking it is a hoax, they are immune, etc. So, our infection rate has risen from 4.6% to 9%. In our county alone, we have at least one death per day as a result of COVID infection. We are having many hospitalized daily. Ann's rheumatologist had it for 3 weeks in July and he is still sluggish and tired. He is working half days. He is one of the smartest doctors that we know. Then this past Monday, one of the widows next door tested positive along with her whole office. So far for her, she is having symptoms like a serious sinus infection. I am alert to my body as we had contact on Thanksgiving Thursday as we gave her the rolling pin of her choice. I have been sneezing, but I don't think that is related as I have plenty of allergies. John Morris
@Gunny You can't make this stuff up. Our governor bought millions of these. This stack was set on my desk for me and my crew when this all broke out, I said no thanks, I got a scarf. Link to comment

Big A too. No thanks. There's a story out there about the governors of CA and GA involved in some bizarre kick back scheme with China via the purchase of PPE. Fake news or suppressed? Ya never know anymore. Link to comment
Fred W. Hargis Jr
All the masks we've bought (to my knowledge) are from China. Anymore, if you insist on not wearing anything from China you would be naked. Link to comment
