Hi all, I'm new here and thought I would say hi. I love woodworking and it is my "safe place" when I am starting to get overwhelmed by the world. I was wounded in iraq in 2004 and struggled with life for a long time until I bought a 30$ central machinery wood lathe. I could never hold down a job and could never sleep due to nightmares and pain. Someone suggested i get a hobby so, i bought a cheap lathe off ebay and fell in love with turning ever since. I'm no expert and i have minimal tools but, i create things and it gives me a sense of peace that i hadn't had in a long time. I look forward to learning from you all and hope to grow into a good woodworker through tips and tricks from you all. Like i said i have minimal tools but hope to acquire more as time goes on. God bless.
