We're forecast for wind chills of -35°.

...Reminds me of the time they had to close the plant a few years back. The people that lived in town called in saying they couldn't make it in to work. Four of us that live out in the count

Upper 20s and mostly cloudy today.  Winter storm warnings starting 1:00AM Monday and lasting into Tuesday.  6"-10" of snow predicted.

Woke up to the sound of raindrops and a very warm 54º. The temps will fall through the day as a cold front passes, and the rain is supposed to clear by late morning. But we are under a high wind warning, with gusts possible up to 50 MPH until early evening. I really hate these high wind days.

Yesterday was an absolutely miserable day for us and thousands of other in the upper midwest. The winds were awful. On the bright side, we didn't loose power or have major damage, but we did have a lot of power blips, the kind that make you reset every clock and wait for the cable box to reboot. Regionally, there's still quite a few folks without power. But we're at 32º this morning, and it's still breezy...but dry and getting to 50 today, should see a lot of sun as well. Apparently that's the theme for the week....sunny and normal temps.

Lots of wind yesterday but only a very small branch down in the yard.  Sunny and cold today and not as windy but still at about 12MPH.  Middle 40s and looks nice.

Ditto, except a big branch, and a bunch of small ones.

:ChinScratch:Seasoned in place.....Instant Firewood! :D

It was still a little windy yesterday, and yet this morning. There were homes in the are that went without power for 24 hours or so, glad we weren't in that group. But it's 37º this morning, and may get to 50 today and still a little breezy. May be a little cloudy as well, thanks to Lake Michigan. But we march on, supposed to be a warming spell staring Thursday which may go past Thanksgiving.
