Fred W. Hargis Jr 10,231
Woke up to the sound of raindrops and a very warm 54º. The temps will fall through the day as a cold front passes, and the rain is supposed to clear by late morning. But we are under a high wind warning, with gusts possible up to 50 MPH until early evening. I really hate these high wind days. FlGatorwood 1 Quote Link to post

Fred W. Hargis Jr 10,231
Yesterday was an absolutely miserable day for us and thousands of other in the upper midwest. The winds were awful. On the bright side, we didn't loose power or have major damage, but we did have a lot of power blips, the kind that make you reset every clock and wait for the cable box to reboot. Regionally, there's still quite a few folks without power. But we're at 32º this morning, and it's still breezy...but dry and getting to 50 today, should see a lot of sun as well. Apparently that's the theme for the week....sunny and normal temps. FlGatorwood, JimM and Larry Buskirk 3 Quote Link to post

Larry Buskirk 13,802
29° high of 47° still breezy but not like yesterday. I'll have to check for wind damage. JimM, Fred W. Hargis Jr and FlGatorwood 3 Quote Link to post
HandyDan 88,414
Lots of wind yesterday but only a very small branch down in the yard. Sunny and cold today and not as windy but still at about 12MPH. Middle 40s and looks nice. FlGatorwood, Fred W. Hargis Jr and Larry Buskirk 3 Quote Link to post

Fred W. Hargis Jr 10,231
It was still a little windy yesterday, and yet this morning. There were homes in the are that went without power for 24 hours or so, glad we weren't in that group. But it's 37º this morning, and may get to 50 today and still a little breezy. May be a little cloudy as well, thanks to Lake Michigan. But we march on, supposed to be a warming spell staring Thursday which may go past Thanksgiving. p_toad, HandyDan, FlGatorwood and 1 other 4 Quote Link to post

AndrewB 2,598
Strong winds for today oh JOY.... Hopefully I don't loose power any time soon this morning. They are already picking up since the wind warnings take effect at 10 am this morning and go most of the day so we shall see... Just hope I don't loose any power today.
