Popular Post Larry Buskirk
Over the weekend I ate too much!! Been doing the yearly "Spring Picking" (Curb Shopping ) and finding more supply materials. This will go on for about the next month as we make our way through about 15 communities as they do their yearly spring cleanups. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff we find! Popular Post lew
Well I got the first of 2 shingles shot. Arm is almost as sore as those days in boot camp where you walked gauntlet of corpsmen shooting you from both sides. Comcast tech was here on time and checked the cable speed. Bad news is that it wasn't the cable. Good news is the DOCSIS 3.1 router will be here next week. HARO50, Cal, Gunny and 4 others

My arm was noticeably sore for about 3 days on both shots Herb John Morris, FlGatorwood, lew and 2 others 2 2

Gunny
Had to take day off and go to Alabama for court. Lawyer said I needed to be in the area but not courtroom. Landed up being wasted trip and the Judge did not rule on the motion from ex-wife. Ahh what fun. Maybe find some good news by end of week. I did to in 2013, but this one is for a new strain of shingles, and it is so potent they have to divide it into 2 shots, my Dr. said. Also it is 95-99% effective where as the one I had before was only 35%-65% effective. Another odd thing is that the Doctors don't give it, they tell you to get it, but the Pharmacies are the ones giving the shot here. Popular Post Gerald
Problem with the new shot is that it is in very short supply and store with it must save it for those who have already had the first before beginning new people on it. There is not a new strain of shingles it is just that the new shots ar supposed to be more effective. Popular Post Dadio
You are right everywhere I went they had a 2 month waiting list. So when I went to the doctor I told him and he told me where to go. He said go here ,that is where I got mine, so I called them up, and they said to come on in and get yours. And they called me when I was due for the second one. Herb HARO50, Gunny, FlGatorwood and 2 others
FlGatorwood
After all the shot guns at Great Mistakes, I think I've had enough shots for my life. When I was going to the VA, they gave me a shingle and pneumonia shot. Reminded me of basic training at the Lakes. Took our grandson to the health department the other day for his boosters plus the HPV shot. That shot is a long needle and it is intramuscular so it was sore for a few days. Looking forward to my fasting labs in about 2 months. That's always a joy. Go by Hardee's and pick up breakfast, take it to the labs with me and once they are finished sucking out all the good juice, I chow down.
