Popular Post Smallpatch
When finished with the last one I immediately thought I could do better..not just in a place or two. Maybe because it was easier than most of my projects. But maybe the reason I already had glued up and prepared the slab for the next project...and I think I wanted more wild color for the ole rooster to stand out in that crowd. So I'm at this stage right now.. I had already used biscuits between the boards so I am starting to see the row of boats again. I tried to stay above them but the edge tapering is bringing them out. Smallpatch
Gerald I think the color combinations next to each other is the key. Grandpadave52 and Cal

Laser work, glass engraving/etching, Dremel carving? I'm learning one at a time. Still got a long road ahead with the laser. Baby steps. I'll try to get some pics of the process. Believe me, nothing I do is too hard. Learnin' is hard. Doin' it ain't. Cal and Gunny

Gene Howe
Jesse, pictures are coming soon. So as to not further hijack your thread, they will be in another one. Look for "weird picture frame". Grandpadave52, Cal and Gunny
Grandpadave52
That eye up close kind of creeps me out...sorta' the "stink eye" look. I had a White Rock rooster that used to give you that look...when he did, better look out, 'cause he was coming at you with his spurs. Can't wait to see this one in "full bloom." Won't be any mowing here for a while...grass is still brownish yellow...that and you'd need helium in the tires or tracks to keep from sinking into the ground. At least five weeks away from hummingbird arrival here...feed them good Patch, they're going to need the extra bulk to stay warm once they arrive. Just keeping the feeders cleaned out & dry is about an every other day job. They don't like the red-tailed hawk either that's been hanging around lately. At least the dog has been getting a workout chasing the hawk when he flies over. Her view is restricted airspace...she intends to enforce it.
