schnewj Posted March 15, 2019 Report Share Posted March 15, 2019 I am really glad to see everyone came through that storm OK. It is even supposed to affect us in Central Florida. The cold front is supposed to push south over the weekend and we are supposed to get a drop in the temperature. Maybe all of the way down into the lower 70's. We had the lower 70's once this year (yesterday)....then the rain came through accompanied by 50+ mph winds escorting the cold front to ensure it arrived on queue. Today the high has been 36o; well technically 41o if you count just after mid-night when the winds picked up again. Fortunately today the wind has subsided...almost non-existent at 25-35 mph. Another blessing was the rain mixed with snow earlier this PM. That prevented the sun from shining today thus we saved some sunscreen. Most of the mud appears to be intact as well especially where water remains on the surface. That crazy ground-hog...I think he might just have been messing with us predicting an early spring...he's a funny little *#*#* rodent. Link to comment

LOL One of my neighbor's dobes caught one that was hissing at it from under the edge of his barn. She broke it. Apparently they aren't made like the used to be.
