Popular Post Dadio
This is my first real Scrollsaw project. I found a picture on the internet of one I liked so I sort of copied it. The bolt/washer/nut was my idea, the one I copied had a dowel with a ball on the end. Made from Black Walnut. Herb Fred W. They look remarkably similiar (not all mine do LOL) Grandpadave52, Al B and Cal 1

I have trouble cutting to the line accurately . Herb Artie, Cal, Harry Brink and 1 other
Popular Post Larry Buskirk
That looks great Herb! I'm sure Artie was referring to coffee as his drink. Dadio, Al B, Grandpadave52 and 2 others

Grandpadave52
Very cool Herb and quite classy for it's intended purpose. How are the sides attached to Artie's drink holder? Glue/pin nails? dowels? blind dovetail? I really like the threaded bolt, washer & nut idea and incorporation. That turned out great! What man wouldn't want to change out the empty TP roll with that feature? Dadio, Artie and Cal

Cal
Great job Herb. Is the nut & bolt actually threaded? Edited November 14, 2018 by Cal Al B and Dadio

Yes, both ends, they have to be taken apart to change rolls. Herb Grandpadave52, Al B and Artie
Popular Post Smallpatch
Now you have went and done it Herb! Now you have to do towel racks, mirror frames to match to sit on the counter and some jewelry hangers. I also made a shelf for the hundreds of bottles of perfume and smellem good stuff. It all should match so if you build it all at the same time it will be easier to make the same colors match. But to start with you need to get a set of french curves at HL and some large sheets of graph paper at a printing store and a little practice you came be designing your own patterns. I learned a lot about making things that go in bathrooms...If its going in a bathroom for the elderly don't have a lot of openings that will catch dead skin and dust...The things I made for our bathroom is cute yes but impossible to clean. Then next one you make include an enclosed space for an extra roll of toilet paper or two. I didn't do that and the extra rolls still sit on the back of the commode. And don't forget, the elderly usually reaches for some thing to grab a hold of to help get off the pot so make things sturdy within reach of the commode. So your not in the elderly category yet, but you will be some day.... p_toad, Grandpadave52, Dadio and 2 others
