I'll sure remember these jigs if I ever need holes in the end of dowels but I've never needed them yet. Seems like all my dowel work is the other way around for I am gluing the dowels in to holes.

I do a lot of that too. I like to use toothpicks for dowels to keep small pieces from moving while the glue sets.

I made up about a dozen of them for ready made stock,and it is fast,and easy and right on the money for centering the hole. That is the most important part, if not centered when the lid is lifted it will bind.
