My brother inlaw retired as a draftsman and even he couldn't think of a reason for me as mostly a hobbyist to change. Grandpadave52 Posted September 19, 2018 Report Share Posted September 19, 2018 We only had one like that in my Jr. High & Freshman drafting class. It was for special projects and teacher use only. All the students had Post tables with T-squares. We had to furnish our own 45/90o and 30-60-90o tri-angles, a protractor, french curve & architect & engineering 3 sided scale rules and drafting set & leads. I think my drafting set & retractable pencils were Dietzen (sp?). I still have the tri-angles, french curve and my drafting board & t-square.
