Web Site Changes (Button Color Too Light)

Recommended Posts

The web site changes make it look really great and professional. I did have a problem navigating thru the first few times, but I am not a guru or even close. About half the time I start an entry, the old entry is still there. Not a big deal. I would like to suggest that you make the "submit topic" in a darker color so it is more easily seen.

Again, great looking site, good job!

Ron, we are so glad you like the newer digs, thanks for that!

I am unsure though what you are referring to for the "Submit Topic" button. Here is what I am currently seeing, can you please tell me if you see anything different? Thanks!

See button circled in red.

Wow, that is really light indeed Ron, a Mac, hmmm, not sure if that means anything for this, that should not matter, I do not know much about monitor resolutions or color settings, all mine have always been the default, but it sure looks like there are some color issues going on with your PC and our site.

The only way I can know for sure if this is anything we have control over, is if anyone else is experiencing the same issue, but for now, all looks good on our end, as you can see by my own screen shot I submitted.

Thanks Cal, I don't know why on the Mac the submit button is displaying like that. I'll look into it more. Thanks for the follow up.

I access the forum on 2 different Macs, and the "Submit Topic" button is exactly as Ron displayed above, though I'm not having a problem seeing it. Never thought about it looking different in Windows.

What are your color settings in the custom color picker mode? Is it Marble and Marble? Or have you customized your color settings at all? Thanks!

Thanks Fred.

By the way, did you know you can change colors in our community?

I think I did, but really see no need to do so; I have enough problems when I leave things alone...let alone trying to make changes. rolling.gif

I got a lead on the issue folks, it's only a theme setting I need to modify, I'll get it to look clearer and sharp as time permits, thanks for sharing this issue with me!

Who We Are

Operation Ward 57 Challenge Coin Display Project

We are a woodworking community with an emphasis on sharing and learning the skilled craft of woodworking and all of its related disciplines. Our community is open to everyone who wishes to join us. We support our American veterans and active duty, being a veteran is not a prerequisite to join. Join us now!

Objective

Air Force Command Center Plaque

Of course just like most online woodworking communities we are centralized in the arts, crafts, and trades that are woodworking. But, we have another focus in our Patriot Woodworker community, we are the only woodworking community that was founded on our care and concern for our disabled veterans.

Volunteer

Patriot Woodworker Volunteers

The Patriot Woodworkers are an all volunteer community, from the staff and hosts who run our online woodworking community to the members who frequent our forums, you'll find volunteers in all of us. We are not on a payroll, unless you consider the spiritual rewards gained from volunteering, as compensation.

Education

Logging

One of the many projects we are working on is a wiki for our online community. A wiki is a great way for woodworkers and enthusiasts to share their knowledge to others, and to impart their knowledge for others to learn from, and utilize as well for their own benefit. We hope you'll consider being a wiki contributor.
